Police have arrested NUPs Kassanda County South MP Hon Frank Kabuye following the murder of a student at Makerere University during a students’ guild rally. Uganda Police at Katwe have arrested two people in connection to the brutal murder of a local resident. Noah Mathew Kinono, 27, a resident of Kigaga zone Salama Makindye division in Kampala was stabbed to death over the weekend by unknown people. Wilson Habiyakale, the head teacher of Chuho Primary School in Kisoro district has earned himself 17 years and nine months in jail after pleading guilty to aggravated defilement. He appeared before Justice Moses Kawumi Kazibwe in Kabale High Court Monday, who had handed him the sentence on his own plea of guilt. Justice Kazibwe noted that at his age and the fact that he was a head teacher, the convict should have protected the minor placed under his care.
