Police are searching for two teens who went missing over two weeks ago in Wakiso District. “On April 27, 2023, two children, identified as Vianney Mukisa, a 13-year-old pupil, and Congole Israel, also known as Lucky, a 13-year-old pupil of Congolese nationality and refugee status, went missing from their respective homes in Kazinga Village, Wakiso Subcounty, Wakiso District,” said Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire. Barely one day after the shooting of an Indian moneylender in Kampala, police have arrested a private security guard who opened fire at a motorist in Wandegeya on Saturday. In it’s effort to restore degraded Kyewaga Central Forest Reserve situated in Katabi town council, Wakiso district, the National Forest Authority has issued a notice to over 20 commercial tree planters to vacate the government Forest after their licences expired last year.
