Several residents, business men and women were on Tuesday evening left shedding tears after fire gutted their houses and make-shift kiosks at the Kasenyi Landing Site. All businesses that mainly included bars, lodges, restaurants and business kiosks that covered approximately 1.5 acres were all burnt to ashes in the fire that also claimed some lives. The Canadian Government has partnered with Health Nest Uganda (HENU) in a bid to support older persons in Entebbe engage in income generating projects rather than wait for hand outs. Over 606 women from Katabi, Kiwafu and Kigungu wards in Entebbe Municipality who enrolled for the Sseninde Foundation second intake successfully completed their training on Wednesday with practical exams at the respective training centres that included Works Play Ground, Kiwafu Primary School and Kigungu.
