Unidentified Boda Boda rider and a passenger are nursing severe injuries after they kissed death by whiskers in a nasty bloody accident on Thursday in Entebbe. The two victims were on Thursday night at around 2030hrs knocked down by a reckless motorist who was coming from Entebbe and branching off from the main road in Kitala Zone around Kebba Inn Stage. The reckless car driver who was cruising his Corolla G-Touring vehicle registration number UAL 019M at a terrific speed rammed into the Boda Boda rider and passenger who according to witnesses were coming from Ndeeba in Kampala. The Boda Boda rider sustained severe head injuries after he hit his head on the car front screen while the passenger sustained minimal injuries. At the time of the accident the Boda Boda Rider had no helmet on. Both the Boda Boda rider and passenger were rushed to Entebbe Referral Hospital for first Aid and treatment. Both Boda Boda registration no. UDV 005E and the Vehicle were towed to Entebbe Police Station.
The Entebbe Police OC Traffic In charge Eriya Kamugisha confirmed the nasty accident and revealed that the Boda Boda rider was later rushed to Mulago Hospital for further treatment while the passenger was discharged from Entebbe Hospital. The motorist was caged behind bars and charged with reckless driving and causing an accident. Eriya Kamugisha warned all motorists against reckless driving with no senses on their heads.
