Dancehall singer Rabadaba has come out to address the misconceptions surrounding his relationship with his ex-wife, the late Maggie Kiweesi, that have been tagging him as the leading cause of her death.
Following Nalongo Maggie’s death, Rabadaba has been tagged in several posts on social media claiming that he was among the factors that led to her sliding into depression after her UK deportation.
Taking to his TikTok account, however, the UK-based singer addressed the misunderstandings surrounding Maggie’s demise, setting the record straight and asserting that their relationship ended in 2022, and they had both moved on.
He claimed they kept in touch and even met when Maggie traveled to the UK for her short visits, but he decided to cut communication after he learnt that she had remarried to Omulangila Nakibinge.
Contrary to reports that Maggie had been deported, Rabadaba confirmed that she decided to settle in Uganda because the frequent trips to the UK had become expensive after she had lost her flat.

Rabadaba further denied rumors that Maggie died of depression, insisting that she was doing well and was happy with her relationship.
He made it known that the rumours were fueled by a UK-based blogger, Ritah Kiggwa, whom he denied ever meeting and being friends with. He made it clear that her allegations about their relationship were fabricated and false.

Explaining the cause of their breakup, Rabadaba revealed that he wanted to be involved in his children’s lives, something that Maggie didn’t agree with. Many times they disagreed on it, and he couldn’t compromise when it came to his children.
He, therefore, begged the public to stop spreading wrong narratives about her past relationship and prayed for Maggie’s soul to rest in peace and peacefully.
