Uganda president  Yoweri Kaguta Museveni  on Monday evening  banned private cars from moving on roads as one of measures to fight the coronavirus outbreak. The president said that private cars should be suspended from moving on road for 14days after reports reflected that private car owners have been using their cars for commercial gains and charging exorbitant fares without licenses. The president announced the shut-down of government services except for the army, police, health services and others.
