Police in Wakiso District have arrested 2 Local Defence Unit (LDU) personnel over the killing of former Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) President, Robert Kagolo. Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire said Kagolo was shot dead by one of the LDU militants guarding his late brother’s home in Kasengeje in Wakiso District, central Uganda. President Museveni is looking to appoint a new Ugandan ambassador to Angola after the former director of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO), Col Frank Kaka Bagyenda, turned down the job.
