Fourteen passengers are smiling from the bottom of their hearts and praising God after they cheated death in a nasty road accident that occurred in Mpala along Entebbe-Kampala Highway yesterday Friday at 10pm. The passengers who were travelling to Kampala kissed death after a one drunken man identified as Charles Kabaata aka Property Masters rammed his Dangerous Mechanical Condition (DMC) Vehicle Toyota Carina Model Registration No. UAF 309L into the Kamunye Taxi Registration UAU 321H that they were travelling in. Eye witnesses revealed that Kabaata had been downing lot’s of liquor as early as 6pm in a make-shift Kafundah in Mpala and by 10pm he decided to leave for another Kafundah in Abaita Ababiri to continue his boozing spree unfortunately he rammed his old Toyota Carina into the Kamunye Taxi after his legs lost balance with too much booze on his head. The beer thirsty fella and little Angels Primary School driver was rushed to Kisubi Hospital in critical condition after his legs and balls were crushed. Traffic police later towed away the car to Entebbe Police Station until further notice. The 14 passengers got out of the vehicle minus any bruises and scratches.
