

Two drug traffickers identified as Sluckis Rimas a 45 year old Lithuanian national and 24 year old Joan Nakitende are rotting in Kigo Government Prison after they were arrested over smuggling illicit drugs including Cocaine at Entebbe International Airport. Sluckis Rimas was arrested on December 11, 2016 while he was checking in and ready to board Emirates passenger Flight (EK730) to Brussels, Belgium.
According to Kampala Metropolitan (KMP) Police spokesperson SSP Emiliano Kayima Sluckis Rima jetted into Uganda on November 20 and was travelling to Brussels after enjoying his “holiday” when he was arrested by Aviation police cops who noticed him walking in a very weird and funny way in the passenger check in Area. He was subjected to a thorough search and he was found with 1.1kgs of illicit drugs that he had hidden in his under pants. The illicit drugs according to Kayima are valued at Shs290m.



Joan Nakitende a 24 year old Ugandan National was nabbed at the Entebbe Handling Services Cargo terminal on December 9, 2016 while plotting to smuggle out 12kgs of illicit drugs destined for Guangzhou, China. Nakitende who works with a restaurant located on Salaama Road in Makindye Division had concealed the illicit drugs in a car battery that was purportedly being shipped to China for “repair”. According to Kayima the 12kgs are valued at Shs500m.
The two criminals were recently paraded before the Entebbe Chief Magistrates Court where they pleaded guilty. They are rotting in Kigo Prisons as they wait for their sentencing tomorrow. However the poor girl revealed that her Nigerian Boyfriend only identified as Ompa and a one William Sebunya set her up and used her in the dirty deal. Both William Sebunya and Ompa are on the run as Police is hunting them down.


Emilliano Kayima lauded the Entebbe International Airport police team for cracking down on drug traffickers and he warned young girls over indulging in relationships with suspected criminals.
