The Netherlands based Turkish International Humanitarian Aid Holland (IHH) NGO in conjunction with Humanitarian Effort and Relief Uganda has yet again donated 34 cows to the Muslim community in Entebbe in a bid to promote and foster a spirit of togetherness and cooperation among Muslims. The Entebbe Municipality Muslim County Chief Edirisa Matovu and RDC Rose Kirabira received the cows on behalf of all Muslims on Tuesday at the Muslim Grounds in Entebbe. Matovu commended IHH for expressing their solidarity with the Muslims in Entebbe.
Deniz Ilhami a volunteer with IHH and who handed over the cows pledged to continue working and fostering a spirit of togetherness between Turkish Muslims based in Netherlands and Muslim fraternity in Entebbe.
“Since last year we’ve been donating cows to the Muslim fraternity in Entebbe as they celebrate Eid Adhua. Our role as IHH is to help the needy by sharing whatever we have”, Ilhami said.
