Talented managed to edge their rivals Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in the Beach Soccer league that was held at Lido Beach Entebbe on Sunday. Talented earned their victory through Kayiwa Allan and Nwachukwu Onyikachi who both netted hat tricks. The goals for MUBS came through Kawawulo Isma who netted a hat trick while Golooba Joachim and Okello Maxwell each scored a goal apiece.
Nkumba Select beat Kayunga Town Council 4-1 with Douglas Muganga, Wasswa Alex and Daniel Nsubuga each scoring a goal apiece. Kayunga’s Ibrahim Lubwama made it four for Nkumba select after he scored an own goal. Baker Buyala scored a consolation goal for Kayunga Town council.
Elsewhere in the Hurriken Group St. Lawrence beat Miami Kops 4-1, Buwanika Bulls beat Kampala City All Stars 2-1.
In the Monsoon group Real Galacticos walloped Uhuru Titans in a 6-2 goal thriller. Abdul Karim and Kafeero Hamis scored a brace and a hat trick respectively while Eddie Kityo sealed Real Galacticals with a single goal. Meanwhile Stormers beat KIU 3-2, Dalumba beat YMCA 2-1 while Muteesa I Royal University beat Kabalagala Rangers 5-4.
