Entebbe based Masavu F.C still top Rwenzori Group with 24 points despite their 1-all draw to Boma Young on Sunday. Masavu managed to score first after Dumba Sadala broke the deadlock in the 70th Minute however Hoima based Boma Young got a controversial equalizer in stoppage time.
I’m happy for the result. It wasn’t an easy ride. I’m confident that if we keep the team spirit and continue scoring more goals we shall join the Azam Premier League, Masavu coach Allan Kabonge said.
Meanwhile Last week on Thursday Masavu beat visiting Kitara Airtel 2-1 at their Katabi Gombolola pitch. The Rwenzori group leaders take on Water F.C in their next duel.
