Residents in Abaita Ababiri in Entebbe Municipality are in shock and lost for words after an unidentified man mysteriously collapsed and died in saloon located opposite windy bar on Monday at around 4pm. According to sources in the area they revealed that the deceased came to check on his buddies in the saloon and while he was conversing with them he felt unwell and took a rest in one of the saloon chairs where he died in his sleep. Shortly after his buddies discovered he had kicked the bucket, some decided to vanish from the saloon while the rest denied him like Simon Peter denied Jesus Christ. Police stormed the saloon after they were contacted by close neighbors and the land lord who saw the unidentified man sleeping still and beginning to decompose.
Police cops later carried away the deceased’s body to Mulago Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem. Police also carried away food that was abandoned on a plate in the saloon for more clues on the deceased’s death. Neighbors who spoke on condition of anonymity revealed that the deceased has been visiting his buddies in the saloon daily. A source in the neighborhood also revealed that the deceased was last seen at around 3am on Monday at windy bar buying food in a very weak state.
