The 2015 Entebbe Zonal Schools Netball Championships came to a conclusion on Monday March 23 with Kennedy High School being crowned Champions at the Entebbe Works Grounds. Kennedy High School beat Entebbe Parents 13-7 in a thrilling final to claim the 2015 Netball Schools accolade.
In the quarterfinal stage Kennedy High School eased passed St. Noah S.S after 16-0 thumping while in the semifinal stage Kennedy High School saw off Boston High School with a 12-8 win. The one day event attracted 13 schools.
Kennedy High School and Entebbe Parents automatically qualify for the Wakiso District Championships.

Airforce Secondary School, Kawuku S.S, Boston High School, Nkumba S.S, Lake View Kitooro, Merry Land High School, Kisubi Mapeera, Comprehensive S.S, St. Noah, Entebbe Parents, Jovens High School, Kisubi High School. Kitala S.S didn’t turn up.
Speaking to entebbenews Kennedy High School Netball Coach Ntesibe Peter attributed his team’s success to early preparation and training.
“I’m happy that Kennedy High School has been crowned champions for the third time. We prepared well, the team also got a lot of exposure in the Namboole norvis rally Netball championships” Ntesibe said.
“I appeal to the government to support the game of Netball because we have a lot of talent in Uganda” he stressed
Ntesibe who has been coaching Kennedy High School Netball team for the last four years has bagged three trophies. Ntesibe is also the treasure life Youth centre (TLC) coach in the National League.
