Kasese court Magistrate and Oscar Associates Lawyer Justin Odokonyero popularly known as Odoks on Sunday sunddenly died following a boda boda accident that happened after a week ago in Gulu where he had gone to visit his relatives. The deceased and newly appointed Grade One Magistrate attached to Bwera Kasese court was airlifted and admitted to Mulago Hospital in a critical condition under intensive care unit after crashing in a nasty bloody accident. The deceased had been bedridden and in pain at the government medical facility till he couldn’t breathe anymore.
The deceased’s family on Tuesday organized a requiem mass at the Bugonga church in Entebbe to pay their last respects to their own son that was three months ago appointed amongst the eight lucky magistrates.
According to the chief Registrar Paul Gadenya the deceased’s head was shattered badly that he couldn’t be transferred to Kampala in an ordinary ambulance and he was airlifted by a chartered aircraft. And to make matters worse the deceased hadn’t yet received his first salary. The deceased’s body was on Wednesday laid to rest at his ancestral home in Layibi, Gulu district and he is the third Judicial officer to die within a period of two months.
