Entebbe Municipality Forum For Democratic Change (FDC) firebrand Gitta Alex is cursing why he was born to suffer after he was arrested and jailed over the defiance demonstrations. The FDC diehard and a couple of his colleagues were on Thursday netted by police at their party office in Lugonjo while they were plotting for the massive demo around Entebbe Municipality. The former Entebbe Municipality aspiring Member of Parliament and Express FC Head Coach was on Thursday arrested and detained at Entebbe Police Station together with the aspiring LCIII Division ‘B’ Chairman Peter Othieno, Mafabi Adrian, Okong Tadeo, Lameck Esoma and Sebuma Emmanuel. However Peter Othieno and Emmanuel Sebuma were granted bail by Chief Magistrate Mary Kaitesi after they produced substantial sureties. Gitta Alex was denied bail after one of his sureties Aloysius Musiitwa meandered while Chief Magistrate Mary Kaitesi quizzed him. He was remanded to Kigo Prison till May 9th after his lawyer Christopher Bupenje failed to secure bail for him. Mafabi Adrian, Okong Tadeo and Esoma Lameck were also remanded to Kigo Prison.
