As President Yoweri Museveni prepares for his 5th elective swearing in ceremony at Kololo Independence Grounds on Thursday, Entebbe Municipality residents and the General public have been warned that Entebbe Road will be sealed off to allow for the easy movement of different heads of state and other diginitaries who will be arriving at Entebbe International Airport and heading to the city. According to the Entebbe Municipality District Police Commander Godfrey Ninsiima all movements along Entebbe Road will temporarily be banned including the Friday market day in Abaita Ababiri to allow for the uninterrupted and easy movement of the different heads of state and diginitaries who will be arriving at Entebbe International Airport and heading to the city.
My humble appeal to all residents of Entebbe Municipality, the General Public and Motorists is to abide and cooperate with the police and different security organs because we want to secure the road for the different heads of state and diginitaries that will be arriving at Entebbe International Airport and heading to the city for President Museveni’s swearing in ceremony slated for Thursday at Kololo Independence Grounds. Anyone who will be caught operating on the road will be dealt with accordingly, Ninsiima confirmed during a meeting with Market vendors at Abaita Ababiri Market on Monday.
He added:
We have tripled our security and all we require from the public is to abide and cooperate with us (police and security organs) during this time. Entebbe road will be open to the public on Sunday when all heads of state and VIP guests have departed.

All those travelling to the city will have to use the Entebbe Express highway road from Mpala and will end up in Busega. A heavy presence of stick wielding soldiers are on the look-out to crush any parallel activities intended to disorganize President Museveni’s swearing in ceremony like in 2011 when everything got bloody.
