RDC Nalongo Rose Kirabira has given a last warning to Entebbe Grade ‘B’ Hospital staff to desist from stealing drugs from the hospital and concentrate on serving the nation with one heart. RDC Kirabira sounded the warning during a meeting with the hospital staff on Friday following several complaints from the public and months long undercover investigations indicating that doctors and nurses have been playing all sorts of dirty games including stealing government drugs and selling them to poor patients including street dealers in addition to extorting different sums of money from patients before they can be handled and treated. RDC Kirabira also revealed that midwives in the maternity wing have failed to control their tongues and abuse innocent pregnant women like hell with a lot of impunity.
She revealed that she has enough evidence to pin down some hospital staff that smuggle government drugs in their hand bags and pockets and sell them on the black market. RDC Kirabira begged the doctors and nurses to repent their sins and turn to God for guidance before their dirty deals can nasty for them. She vowed to arrest and expose all the foxy doctors and nurses who crack illegal deals with in the hospital including those who abandon poor patients on the hospital floors with no care because they don’t have money to bribe to be treated.
The Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Moses Muwaga promised to work with different law enforcement agencies including the police, under cover scouts and RDC’s Kirabira office to uproot and arrest all the wrong elements in the hospital.
