A 35 year old Entebbe business woman identified as Sylvia Mirembe was on Saturday morning discovered dead in bed by her boyfriend only identified as Frank. The deceased was discovered dead by her boyfriend in their rented apartment in Lugonjo Zone, Entebbe Municipality in the early morning hours of Saturday after the deceased didn’t wake up in her usual morning hours to recite the holy rosary.
According to the boyfriend, the deceased has been waking up early in the morning to recite the rosary and do some house chores but this time he became suspicious after she remained in bed and when he touched her, her body was cold and still. The boyfriend also disclosed that the deceased was breathing abnormally in the night but that she later stabilized and slept.
Several sources have revealed that the deceased has been living with HIV/AIDS and has been on serious medication including Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs).
The deceased has been plaiting hair in several saloons in Kitooro and also a common figure in Kitooro Zone. Democratic Party councilors including Twaha Kikomeko and Jackie Kimera are coordinating burial arrangements for the deceased who has been a die hard Democratic Party Supporter and was active in the 2016 election campaigns. She will be laid to rest in Kalisizo, Masaka District.
