The Entebbe Municipality Democratic Party chairman Ssenoga Mivuule has accused EC Supervisor Aidah Tumusiime of conniving with the ruling National Resistance Movement Party to rig polls in Entebbe. Ssenoga who was addressing a press conference on Monday revealed that EC’s Aidah Tumusiime is conniving with NRM officials in Entebbe to disorganize the voters register.
“We have been reliably informed that EC’s Aidah Tumusiime has a network of NRM officials whom she is conniving with to disorganize the voter register and rig the polls in Entebbe but we are ready for them and we aren’t afraid of battling with them” Senoga said.
However Aidah Tumusiime rubbished the accusation as lies and false allegations aimed at tarnishing her name.
“DP Leaders are perpetrating lies and false allegations that I’m conniving with NRM officials to disorganize the elections. Let them provide proof and evidence instead of making baseless allegations” Aidah told entebbenews on phone.
She added:
I don’t handle any ballot papers or the voters register, my work is to supervise the electoral process. All election related grievances should be forwarded to the presiding officers, Sub County supervisors and the Wakiso returning officer.
