





The Entebbe International Airport Taxi Drivers Association members are in mourning after one of their own David Kaweesa perished in a bloody accident on Monday around Lweza on Entebbe Road. The deceased who was returning from Kampala to Entebbe after dropping a client hit a super custom vehicle around Lweza on Entebbe Road at around 5.30am and rolled out of the car from the driving seat and fell by the road side bleeding heavily with no one to rush him to hospital. According to an eyewitness the deceased was driving at break neck speed and hadn’t fastened the seat-belt when he suddenly hit a Super Custom Vehicle registration no. UAD 638D and rolled out of the car and injured his head on the tarmac. He died shortly after arriving in Mulago Hospital where he had been rushed for Medical attention by his fellow Airport Taxi friends who drove very fast from Entebbe after the deceased remained abandoned on the road with no one coming to his rescue. The deceased vehicle car registration no. UAU 123J was shattered both the front and behind screens and was towed to Lubowa Police Station. The Driver of the Super custom Vehicle a lady and two school kids escaped unhurt and with no injuries or bruises. The deceased was laid to rest in his ancestral home in Wasinda village, Gomba District on Tuesday and is survived by two widows and seven kids.
