


Police in Entebbe is hunting down for unidentified lorry driver who mercilessly ended a one Mark Kasozi’s life in a nasty accident last week on Wednesday. The reckless lorry driver sped off after knocking down the Boda Boda man near Shell Gas in Kitara Zone along Entebbe/Kampala high way.
Godfrey Mugerwa, the area LC1 chairperson who witnessed the incidence faulted the lorry driver who was driving Isuzu Elf truck registration number UAS 040R for driving recklessly without considering other road users.
He pointed fingers at the reckless lorry driver who crushed the Boda Boda man into pieces and sped off. The Area LCI Chief revealed that the Boda Boda man who was riding a Bajaj registration number UEF 767P tried his best to dodge the speeding truck but in vain since the truck driver was determined to finish him off before speeding off into thin air.
Emmanuel Mugisha, the officer in charge of Traffic at Abaita Ababiri police, said police tried its best to track the driver but in vain since he had dumped the number plate along the way making it hard for traffic cops to apprehend him.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body was taken to Mulago hospital for a post mortem pending burial arrangements.
