The deputy regional police commander in north Kyoga region, together with personnel from lira districts on 07 September, 2014 recovered two SMG rifles and 89 rounds of ammunition from the home of Opio Patrick in Baralamu village, Onyakedi parish, Amach sub county, Lira district. The National Environmental Management Authority has grilled Leone Island Entertainment boss Dr. Jose Chameleone over his beach facility in Entebbe. The local singer in 2010 acquired a wetland covering over seven hectares next Kyavumbu Landing site. And when he started developing the beach facility the environmental watch dog stopped him from developing any structures on the wetland.
