The   government    officer  denied the allegations  in  a  heated   meeting   organized   last weekend   by   the   Mayor  Vincent  Kayanja  at  Entebbe Municipal Council  Offices. The  town  clerk  said he has  never picked any  coin  from  any individual or organization as  alleged  by  one  David Nkuba.   This  follows after  the   town clerk   stopped   the  Taxi  drivers  operating  under  the  Entebbe  Liberty  Taxi  Operators  Association  from   hijacking  the Entebbe  Taxi  Park  and  charging every  car  and  individual  entering  the  Taxi park one  thousand  shillings.  Two weeks  ago  traders   rioted  and  charged  up  after  they  were  blocked  from  accessing  their  business  premises ,shops, food restaurants  and  hair clinics. The  taxi  drivers  almost   lynched   the  municipal  authorities  including  the  Division  ‘B’  Chairman  Anthony  Ssegujja  and  Municipal  Town Clerk  Joseph  Kyabadde  over  poking  their nose in  their  office  affairs and  activities. The  town  clerk  suspended  all  the developments  and  warned  the  taxi park  authorities  not  to  take  the  law  in  their  hands.
