Speaking during the 100 year police centenary celebrations held in Entebbe, Godfrey Ninsiima the Entebbe Municipality DPC has reassured residents that police will continue to strengthen it’s relationship with local communities through community policing.
Residents joined the police in their 100 year centenary celebrations that begun with matching and receiving a torch light at Namulanda along Entebbe Road. The torch light was handed over to Entebbe DPC Ninsiima by Bashaija the DPC Kajjansi.
Several leaders attended the celebrations including the Mayor of Entebbe Municipality Kayanja Vincent Depaul who thanked the police for ensuring that there’s law and order across the country.
He appealed to the residents of Entebbe to report all wrongdoers and any suspicious people who may want to cause havoc adding that this will help in ensuring law and order in the country.
