Ugandan dancehall musicians King Michael and Ziza Bafana are embroiled in a verbal altercation over supremacy.
Ziza Bafana recently boasted that he was a step ahead of most musicians because he knows how to play different instruments. When tasked with giving his view about the statement, Michael, while speaking to bloggers, watered down his statement, claiming it was not a special ability.
Giving examples of artists like Jose Chameleone, Michael revealed that many others would easily play instruments, which he said was not outstanding.
“We know he knows how to play it, and if this were to sell him, we would also acknowledge that. I’m also a good deejay; something he cannot do. He shouldn’t capitalize on that because it doesn’t move anyone. He has to decide if he is a pianist or an artist. He should stop running around doing all these things. Maybe he wants to be like Henry Mayanja, who sings while playing his piano.
In retaliation, Ziza Bafana called out the ‘Muko Muko’ hitmaker for putting down talent, terming him inexperienced and ignorant despite coming into the industry years before. He explained how it was important for an artist to have knowledge of instruments, and only those with sharp minds could attain that.

“Micheal should know that he came before us but we are better than him. A piano needs a great mind, which he doesn’t have. He should never belittle me in the media ever again. People like Chameleone need to tell him how big an artist with the ability to play the piano is. I I know he would love to do what I do but cannot. He doesn’t understand anything about music,” Ziza Bafana clapped back.

King Michael suggested a head-to-head battle with him on the deejay decks and Ziza Bafana on the instruments to see who the fans would prefer. He called him a local artist whose performances are limited to Uganda and not comparable to his, who is lined up for London, China, Denmark, and other countries.
