Veteran comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi, born Allan Mujuni, has addressed reports regarding a woman who recently came forward claiming to have had a child with the late comedian Kapere Lufotose.
Kapere, who was laid to rest recently, is known to have left behind three children with his official wife, Lydia Nakandi, alias Mama Trump.
However, mourners were left surprised during his burial when information emerged that the late comedian had allegedly fathered another child with a woman outside his marriage.
Speaking about the matter in a TV interview, Amooti revealed that the woman personally contacted him shortly after Kapere’s death, expressing her desire to have her child recognised.
However, she reportedly does not want to be dragged into the public spotlight.

“That lady claiming to have Kapere’s child called me recently, after Kapere had breathed his last. However, she doesn’t want to be put in the spotlight. I promised her that I would find a day when we could meet. But confirming whether the child belongs to Kapere might take some time. It could involve DNA tests, which require money. If the results turn out positive, the child will be introduced to the other siblings,” Amooti revealed.

The comedian added that he was equally surprised by the revelations, saying Kapere had never told him about the alleged relationship.
“Kapere had never told me about his side chick. It was my first time learning about her as well.”
