Three Taxi Drivers identified as Isaac Lutaaya, Allan Aliseka and Mugenyi Mohammed operating at Nsangi Taxi stage along Masaka Road are crying crocodile tears and cursing Satan like hell after police in Entebbe arrested them over robbing forty four million shillings (shs 44m) from a one Agnes Nakyejwe, a manager with a Coca-cola Depot in Abaita Ababiri in Entebbe Municipality. The poor girl boarded a tinted Taxi registration number UAU 500Q from Abaita Ababiri at around 10:30am on Monday October 5, 2015 and was heading to Stanbic branch in Entebbe Town to deposit the hefty cash when the crafty fellas decided to blindfold her and snatch her handbag which also included a Samsung phone and office keys. The poor girl begged her captors to let her walk out of the Taxi but they refused and instead gave her a few slaps to make her keep quiet.
The goons assaulted and fondled her while they drove her to unidentified destination. She found herself in a bush in Buddo, Kasangye off Masaka Road at around midday after the crafty fellas dumped her there and vanished with her hand bag with the hefty cash. The poor girl yelled for help after she found herself dumped in the bush with no coin. A Good Samaritan in the area helped her out and she contacted her boss a one Geoffrey Kyakuha who almost collapsed after he received the bad news. Together with her Good Samaritan they rushed very fast to Buddo Junior Police Post and recorded a statement. She was advised to report the matter to Entebbe Police station which begun hunting down for the tinted Taxi along Entebbe –Kampala Highway. And after one week the foxy fellas were arrested around Kyengera at 3pm and taken to Kigo prison where they spent three weeks after the poor girl positively identified them and the Taxi. They were nabbed smoking weed and plotting for another mission. The Taxi was impounded and dumped at Entebbe Police Station.
The suspected fools were paraded before Entebbe Grade one magistrate Juliana Kimono on Monday who remanded them to Kigo prison till December 9 when they are expected back in court.
