Renowned human rights advocate, poet, medical anthropologist, and feminist Stella Nyanzi has vented her frustration after being denied reentry into Germany through Kenya.
According to Stella, the German ILO in Nairobi, Constantine, denied her re-entry into Germany. She notes that Constantine also denied her permission to board Etihad Airways at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
He claimed Stella lacked the correct documents, even when she allegedly showed her expired and current paperwork.
Additionally, Constantine declared that she was not a refugee in Germany despite showing him the positive decision of the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge —BAMF, which firmly states that she was a refugee with an address in Munich. He declared that she had not yet received the decision on her asylum application.

Despite having her documents, Constantine claimed nothing could convince him to change his mind, as she must reapply for re-entry into Germany.

So the flight gates are closing. The flight is about to depart. My three children are waiting for me back home in Munich. My taxi has already gone back to Nairobi city. I already checked out of my BnB. I have Saturday and Sunday to burn in Nairobi as I try to find my way to the German embassy where this Constantine works. Sometimes I hate the dehumanization of being a refugee dependent on other humans to decide about whether I can go to my home or not!!! Stella Nyanzi cried out.
