Entebbe Sadolin Mongers fell to their fifth of the season after they lost 15-26 to league leaders Betway Kobs. Mongers who are fifth on the log with 25 points failed to hold onto Joseph Bulango’s try in the 6th minute. Kobs came from behind to lead Mongers after Ebra Nyango and Emma Ecodu scored two tries in the 15th and 22nd minutes. Kobs finished the first half with 19-5 margin after Augustine Kasansola added another try while Man of the Match James Ijongat converted two tries. In the second half Michael Amolo and James Ijongat grabbed final try and conversion for kobs. Adrian Wasswa got a consolation for Mongers after he scored a penalty and he converted Dennis Mukalazi’s try.

We are disappointed. We came with a big spirit of winning but our mistakes cost us the game. Our biggest task now is to win the next remaining matches that we shall play at home, Mongers Captain Elijah Segawa said shortly after the match.

It was a bruising game. Mongers are quite physical; we had to put more effort in the second half. Our focus now is to get maximum points from the remaining matches, Betway Kobs Captain Brian Odong said.
