Residents in Entebbe have decried the increasing drug addicts in the areas of Nakiwogo and Lugonjo. The residents raised the concerns in a meeting that was held in Lugonjo and Nakiwogo under the chairmanship of area LC1 chairman Paul Zikuriza.
The community meeting was also attended by Entebbe Municipality Mayor Vincent Kayanja who appealed to parents to counsel their children. He also urged parents to value the importance educating their children adding that a nation with educated citizens increases lawlessness and crime in the country.
Mean while the area LC1 Chairman Paul Zikuriza has appealed to parents to work hand in hand with the local authorities to discipline their children who engage in crime. Entebbe Municipality RDC Rose Kirabira has appealed to all residents to cooperate with Police adding that they should report any suspicious person to the police authorities.
