Police in Lugonjo – Nakiwogo arrested another group of Teens from the ‘swagger Attackers’ deadly gang that has been terrorizing residents in the area. Police used their highly sophisticated intelligence network to nab the teens one by one after the area residents filed several complaints about them waylaying women in the middle of the night and snatching their hand bags as well as robbing them off their hard earned dime including phones. Another gang of teens was arrested after they were nabbed in gambling and betting centers in the areas of Lugonjo- Nakiwogo.
Shallon Nantongo (14), Christine Naiga (14), Joan Kemirembe (14), Jalia Nalubega (13), Angel Nakazi (15) were arrested and put behind bars at the Lugo Nakiwogo Police station and charged with Rogue and Vagabond, Assault and Theft under case SD REF: 08/31/08/2015. Kizito Alex, Jimmy Lule, Lawrence Opio, Lawrence Kimira were charged with gambling at a younger age and were also put behind bars. Some residents revealed that the teens rob their parent’s dime which they take to the gambling centers.
No-nonsense Lugonjo Nakiwogo OC Station Richard Isanga revealed that the teens come from broken homes and have dropped out of school with no one to discipline them. He said that the ‘swagger Attackers’ gang has close to 30 teens who are terrorizing Lugonjo- Nakiwogo residents. Isanga vowed to continue the crackdown on criminals in the area. He revealed that all the arrested teens will be charged in the courts of law.
Some of the parents of the arrested girls confirmed that their kids had turned into brats who need to be thoroughly disciplined including being caned.
