Singer Ronald Alimpa is reportedly behind bars after he defied authorities and engaged in a physical assault with police officers.
According to reports, Alimpa, commonly known for his hit song ‘Seen Don,’ organized a show in Kasanje where he was set to perform without seeking approval from the security personnel.
Upon their intervention, the show D-day, Alimpa allegedly bragged about his musical muscle, reminding them of how he was a superstar and he had to perform forcefully.
Despite his claims, the policemen turned a deaf ear, and out of anger, the singer reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with the officers. A scuffle ensued, and policemen alleged that during the fight, the singer attempted to forcefully take a gun from them with the intention of using it.
Alimpa is currently detained at the station in Wakiso and will be arraigned in court on 19th May to face the charges slapped against him. Following his arrest, he is said to have had drugs that were influencing his reactions, something the manager denied.

Biswanka confirmed Alipma’s arrest on his social media pages, revealing that the incident happened two weeks ago. He called upon his fans to come through and support him during these hard times.
“I have got sad news that this guy Alimpa, your artist, was arrested 2 weeks ago, and he literally needs help from you, the fans. Maybe he was caught high on drugs, hence failure to act respectfully to the security personnel’s orders,” Biswanka posted.
