Indomitable Nakawa based MUBS thumped Buwanika Bulls 7-3 and YMCA 3-2 to maintain their grip on the monsoon table. Bima Kawawulo’s four goals, Zimula Jalilu’s brace and Davis Kasujja’s lone goal gave MUBS comfortable victory over Buwanika Bulls. Byaruhanga Rica (2) and Tubule Dudu (1) were the goal scorers for Buwanika Bulls.
MUBS also beat YMCA 3-2. Baker Lukooya, Joachim Golooba and Brian Nkuubi each scored a goal apiece for MUBS who now have 33 points to consolidate their grip on the monsoon table.
Elsewhere Talented beat Sand Pirates 5-3. John Ssekandi’s hat trick and Joseph Kavulu’s brace were on the score sheet for Talented. Emma Ssuna scored a consolation hat trick for Sand Pirates.
Buwanika Bulls beat Sand Pirates 6-3 while YMCA Lost 5-6 to Zaba SM. Meanwhile the match between Real Galacticos and Zaba SM ended in a melee after Real Galacticos threatened to beat up Referee Sahfiq Mugerwa after they accused him of awarding a controversial goal to their opponents. Zaba went on to win the match 5-4.
In the Hurriken group fixtures Kayunga Town Council grabbed two strong victories over Braza Braza and Dalumba. Kayunga beat Braza Braza 6-0 with Kato Paul scoring a hat trick, Lukoki Jessy netted a brace while Semakula Hamim and Lubwama Ibrahim each scored one goal. Kayunga also beat Dalumba 6-1 with Ssemakula Hamim scoring a hat trick, Kaweesi Frank netted a brace while Kato Paul scored one goal. Dalumba’s consolation goal came from Kaweesi Robert. Kayunga Town council now leads Hurriken group with 30 points.
Elsewhere in the Hurriken group St. Lawrence beat KIU 3-2 while Braza Braza shocked Nkumab select with a 4-1 victory. Katabi Jamada’s hat trick and Godfrey Lubangakene’s lone goal gave Braza Braza the comfortable victory. Nkumba Select’s consolation goal came from Dan Sekabembe.
