National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) edged their counterparts Umeme in a friendly match that was held on Friday at the Entebbe S.S Grounds. Fred Kobwemi’s late strike in the second half put NWSC ahead of their counterparts who are just a stone throw away in the heart of Entebbe Town. NWSC’s Dennis Mangat and David Kiwanuka continued the pressure on Umeme though their shots were off target. Umeme had a chance to get an equalizer and a second goal in the second half had Sudaise Ssenyonga not wasted the two clear cut chances to get the ball into the back of the net. The first shot went over the bar while the other hit the bar.

NWSC put up an overall impressive performance with goalie Ivan Musisi saving a couple of shots from Umeme side.
