


The ruling National Resistance Movement party flag bearer Rose Tumusiime has promised to fight unemployment in Entebbe if elected to Parliament. Rose Tumusiime who was addressing a campaign rally in Lugonjo trading center in Division ‘B’ on Sunday revealed that University graduates today need to be sensitized and trained in different skills to be able to start their own small businesses other than hustling for white collar jobs.
I promise to support youth start up workshops to help university graduates and other needy people acquire the requisite skills and training to start their own small businesses other than hustling for white collar jobs that aren’t readily available, she stated.

She also promised to lobby for SACCOS in both Division ‘A’ and ‘B’ to help residents access funds for their small businesses. She promised to sort out land related issues in Entebbe by ensuring that all contentious plots of land are surveyed and land titles issued to bona fide owners.
She also promised to support people with disabilities (PWD’s) access social services including Education and health care to enable them overcome their stigma. She promised to promote talent in the youth through supporting different sports activities and upcoming artistes.
