Nandor Love opens up about her dream to enlist in the army and why she decided to focus on her music career.
Musician Nandor Love, real name Nantume Dorcus Tendo, has opened up on why her dream to join the army came to an end, and she decided to focus on her music career.
Nandor Love, in a TV interview, revealed that as an artist, her job requires her to stay up all night and sleep during the day.
When asked if she could handle a daily day job, she noted that she had a dream of enrolling in the army, and got some guidance from an anonymous high-ranking officer.
She aimed to enrol but also carry on with her music as usual. She thought she would step on stage for performances in full combat, but was surprised when the army rules forbade it. This was when she lost interest and decided to focus entirely on her career.

“I was about to go into the army, but I spoke to the general and asked him if I could still do my music or not. He told me I couldn’t do that. Other army men still do music, but I wanted to be a bit different.
I wanted to go on stage in full combat, but he said I couldn’t do that. He said that they never do that in uniform; I lost interest, she said.
