Museveni who was speaking during his welcome party that was held at the Mayor’s Garden Entebbe on Saturday urged the youth to avoid living a very extravagant life when they get money and also avoid taking Alcohol, smoking cigarettes, Bangi and Gambling.

“What has kept me strong and fit for all this long is because I don’t take Alcohol” Museveni told the mammoth crowd. “I am 70 years old but you can see I am fit” Museveni added.

The President also advised people to form SACCOS and income generating groups adding that government would best help them when they form groups.

“Please form SACCOS so that government can easily provide you with capital to start small income generating projects” Museveni said.

He also defended the decision to have soldiers take charge of the NAADS program adding that it had failed to serve the intended purpose because a lot of money had been misappropriated.

“We decided to disband NAADS because people who were managing the program were” fattening themselves” through Misappropriation of the funds”. Museveni stated

Museveni also lashed out at the people of Entebbe for failing to vote the right leader during the 2011 election. “You voted Kawuma from the Democratic Party instead of Mubangizi Patience and now it becomes hard for me to work with Kawuma because in our (NRM) discussions and meetings he cannot come.

The President also warned NRM members to avoid wrangles and fights and work towards unity, peace and development of the country. “We shall not entertain jokes in NRM, you are enjoying peace because your parents and grandparents had to sacrifice their lives. A lot of blood was poured during the war in Luwero and we shall not allow people to divide us or wage war in Uganda” Museveni stated.

He added that anybody who wanted to cause chaos in the country would be defeated.

In his concluding remarks Museveni urged the people to first put the 2016 election campaigns aside and work adding that the time for elections is still ahead.

The welcome party which was organized by the NRM Mobilisers was to show support for President Museveni for the prevailing peace, democracy, Economic Growth and media freedom that was ushered in 1986 when the NRA took over power.

Meanwhile there was lots of rice and meat for people to feast on and Entertainment from several artists and bikers as they waited for the President to arrive from United States were he had traveled to address the UN General Assembly and also encourage investors in the United States to invest in Uganda.
