Rapper Mun G, real name Mungi Emmanuel Matovu, has announced that he will hold his maiden concert towards the end of this year.
With a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Makerere University, Mun G is one of the dopest rappers Uganda has ever had.
Before embarking on a professional music career in 2009, Mun G was Baboon Forest rapper GNL Zamba’s hype man.
His breakthrough Ebintu in 2009 soared his career, placing him somewhere at the pinnacle of the Hip-Hop music genre.
Several hits, including Kankugaanye, Igwe, Bintwala, Fati, Ssejusa, Atakutya Gwentya, and Virgin mark his over ten-year career.
After several years of hinting at his possible concert, the rapper has confirmed that he will be celebrating his concert on 30th August 2025.

Dubbed Mun G Live in the Champions Ball, the concert will be held at the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel. Mun had not shared details about the event ticketing at the time of the announcement, but we shall keep you posted as more information becomes available.
