Veteran Musician Mukwaya John, commonly known as Mr. Wind, is in tears after his house was burned down to the ground.
Mr. Wind, known for his 2008 hit song ‘Njagala Kugendako Juba’, appeared in a series of videos on TikTok telling his followers that he was currently homeless after his house in Bwaise was gutted by fire.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but he revealed in one of his posts that unknown people intentionally burned it down. Luckily, no one lost their lives apart from the animals, which were helplessly locked in the house.
He called upon fellow Ugandans, artists, politicians, promoters, and the government to help him regain his life and that of his friends.

“I’m asking for help from my friends in the music industry to please help me out. God will bless those who help me because I have also helped many people. Please help me; I have struggled to have this, and it is all gone,” he said.
Mr. Wind was seen standing with his friends in the rain, pleading for help. Sharing the sad videos of the incident on his social media account, he gave his followers a glimpse of the remains, which were mostly scrap and burnt wood.
