Former Nakasamba Area LCIV Councilor Rose Tumusiime is smiling from the bottom of her heart after she caned her rivals in last week’s parliamentary race. The staunch NRM diehard swallowed all her rivals including DP’s Kakembo Michael (Mbwatekamwa) like samosa in last week’s parliamentary polls. She was declared winner by the Wakiso District Returning officer Sarah Bukirwa after she bagged 8786 votes while Mbwatekamwa bagged 8337 votes. Word reaching our news desk indicates that Mbwatekamwa who had earlier conceded defeat and congratulated Tumusiime has now eaten his words and is challenging her victory in the courts of law. Sources close to Mbwatekamwa have revealed that they have decided to take matters to court because according to them the polls were characterized with lots of malpractices including vote rigging. However reliable sources in Democratic Party revealed that Mbwatekamwa should just go and sleep and wait for 2021 because Rose Tumusiime beat him and 11 others hands down. Several sources who spoke on condition of anonymity said that Rose Tumusiime had lots of supporters in Democratic Party.
