Entebbe based Sadolin Mongers managed to put up a magnificent performance after they stunned second placed Hima Cement Heathens on Saturday at the Kyandondo. Mongers grabbed an early try in the 4th minute through Andrew Olweny and was converted by Adrian Wasswa however Heathens bounced back and scored a try in the 15th minute through Joseph Oyet and was converted by Phillip Wokrach. Mongers who proved a better side after John Wandichio scored a superb try that was converted by Adrian Wasswa. Adrian Wasswa completed Monger’s sweet victory with a penalty. Heathen’s last try came through Phillip Wokrach in the second half.
Elsewhere Kobs beat pirates 15-10, warriors beat Makerere Impis 21-13, and Rhinos beat Rams 25-0 while Toyota Buffaloes got a walk-over after Gulu Elephants didn’t show up.
