Veteran singer Mesach Semakula has advised Grace Khan, real name Grace Namuwulya, to change her ways if she wants to revive her career.
Mesach Semakula had banned Grace Khan from accessing his restaurant, Papaz Spot, following the incident in 2023. Grace got into a fight with Kid Dee for alleging before the public that he was her daughter’s father. The altercation became messy, something Mesach feared would greatly tarnish his restaurant’s reputation.
Grace continued to publicly apologize to Mesach, and every time she found him in public, she would fall on her knees. Mesach claims that the next time she appeared at the restaurant, her health and physical appearance had greatly improved, which convinced him that she had decided to turn her life around.
During their discussion, Mesach says Grace confessed that she had met Thadeus Katumba, with whom they made a pact that she would act differently. With this, he gave her words of encouragement, also advising her not to take the second chance for granted.
“Grace change starts with you. Do not waste the man’s money that after he invests it in you, you just throw it away out of excitement. We have all gone through depression out of life’s pressure. Some run to additives and ruin their lives while others stay strong. I want you to do the same because you are not the first. You look for ways to handle it,” Mesach advised.

Mesach further encouraged her to concentrate on her music as it is the only way to redeem her lost glory before her fans.
“You are not alone and your only hope is good music. Nothing can defend you like good music. Focus on it and people will be running back to you again. You cannot survive on sympathy for long,” he said.
