It was yet another intense and exciting day for both Masavu and Entebbe F.C fans as the two sides renewed their rivalry in one of the classical home derby games in the Fufa Big League. On Thursday the two sides met for the third time in the Fufa Big League and played to a goalless draw at Masavu’s Katabi Gombolola football ground. Kenneth Tumusiime, Fred Umony, Solomon Wafula and Charles Odeke put up an impressive display for Masavu however their efforts didn’t yield much as they played against a much organized Entebbe Squad. Referee James Cemari controversially disallowed Charles Odeke’s well taken free Kick and Kenneth Tumusiime’s well deserved penalty after he was fouled. Entebbe trio Abraham Ndugwa, Nikodemus Ikesit and substitute Abdul Hussein’s efforts too didn’t yield much as Masavu goalie Wasswa Yusuf saved their shots.

Masavu’s Bhetto Bashir was substituted in the few minutes of the game after he sustained a head injury. He left the pitch bleeding and was rushed to Entebbe Hospital for medical attention. The deadly injury involved Entebbe’s Duncan Semakula.
