Budding musician Kapeke, real name Nsubuga Derrick, shocked listeners after he turned down the opportunity to motivate or inspire fellow youths and struggling artists looking up to him.
Kapeke, during a radio interview, was tasked with opening up about his journey and encouraging struggling artists who were working hard to achieve what he has now.
The youngster openly admitted that he went through a lot and feels like he is not the right person to advise anyone on how to make it to the top.
Among the many challenges he faced as he was trying to sell his brand was when he developed complications as a result of moving on boda bodas at night.

Kapeke revealed that throughout the harsh conditions and struggles, no one ever came to help him. They instead tried to discredit him by going as far as blacklisting his music from being played anywhere.

I won’t even sugarcoat it, I have suffered so, I’m not the person to advise them because of what I have gone through. I cannot encourage them on anything because no one was there for me either.
Every person I came across tried to push me down. It is only God to save you. You can choose to spend money at every stage but your music will still fail; even after investing. I do not want to help anyone’s career as no one was there for me,” he told NRG Radio.
