Nkumba University failed to live up to their expectations when they hosted Kampala University at the Nkumba University football Ground on Tuesday. Nkumba fell to their first league loss when Nicholas Kabonge put Kampala University ahead with thunderous shot in the 13th minute. Patrick Sebuliba coached Nkumba University fought tooth and nail through Emmanuel Wasswa, Kibirango Ramathan and Isaac Otto to equalize but failed to break through Kampala University’s solid defence. Nkumba University captain Yunus Kaddu and trio of Emmanuel Wasswa, Kibirango Ramathan and Isaac Otto put up a spirited fight but all their shots were off target. Not even the Nkumba University morale boosters could save their team from the Kampala University wrath.
