Musician Laika Music has revealed that she will not feature in the next season of Pearl Magic’s reality show ‘Kampala Creme’.
The singer joined the Kampala Creme midway in season one and was cast alongside Etania, Mummy Deb, and Zahara Toto. On the show, the cast navigated fake friendships and fights that kept viewers glued to their sets.
Laik says that, on the other hand, brought out the other side of her that she was not used to. On several occasions, she was involved in fights and outbursts with some crew members, something that did not align with her brand.
It wasn’t the best image for me because I prefer a private life and am a peaceful person. I was provoked so many times, both on and off camera, because they wanted to see my reaction. It ended up coming up that way, but naturally, I’m not a fighter and I don’t like drama.” Laika said.
Laika Music joined the show as a replacement for Baby Gloria, who had fallen out with the crew. She says the directors approached her to join the cast because they thought she had the right character for the show. She, however, says she was not friends with any of the ladies but was only an acquaintance of Zahara Toto.

During the interview, Laika admitted that she doesn’t talk to any of them now because they showed her their true colours. Whatever small friendships she had started building up, especially with Mami Deb and Zahara Toto, ended after season two because of the betrayal.

“It all stopped there because they did some things to me. Even in acting, I saw their true character, and I couldn’t be any of their friends. Not even Zahara Toto. I saw many things that you people did not see, and I try so much to stay away from drama,” Laika noted.
With this, Laika revealed that she would not be featuring in the next season of the reality show and therefore was not aware of what was happening at the camp.
“As far as I know, I’m not in it. But I don’t know what is going on there. I stopped last season,” she said.
