Police officers in Entebbe Municipality Division took time off from their demanding law and order enforcement work to enjoy a football match that was held at the Police Play ground on Friday. The football match was organized between senior officers who took on their junior counterparts. Junior officers came from a goal down to beat their bosses 3-1. The Entebbe Police OC Operations Samuel Kalyango scored the only goal for the senior police officers while Eric Mwanje, Fred Looki and John Andiandu were the goal scorers for the junior officer’s side. The senior police officer’s side included DPC Godfrey Ninsiima, Entebbe Police OC Station Abel Muwonge and OC Traffic Eriya Kamugisha who for the larger part of the match were just running around the pitch and entertaining the cheerful spectators with their funny football skills that exposed their unfit bodies. The OC CIID Zachariah Mbabazi could only resort to giving excuses for not participating in the friendly match. He claimed he feared to sustain an injury because he hadn’t prepared adequately well for the match.
