Josh Medical Clinic located in Lugonjo zone in Entebbe Municipality is in the spot light after a 5 months toddler last week died inside the clinic facility. It is alleged that unidentified doctor working in the clinic injected the toddler and died instantly. The toddler was rushed to the clinic by the mum identified as fortunate Natukunda a resident of Lugonjo after it developed fever and cough for three days. Joseph Mugabi the clinic proprietor dismissed the accusations as mere allegations meant to tarnish the clinic’s name. However a credible source in the family revealed that the clinic proprietor compensated the dead toddler’s dad a one Bruno Aswap with shs2m to cater for burial expenses and avoid making noise at the police station.
The Kid was rushed to the clinic with serious fever and cough and upon being injected the toddler died instantly. We cannot tell what caused the toddler’s death but we have been told that the clinic proprietor compensated the deceased toddler’s dad with shs2m as burial expenses. a source in the family spoke on condition of anonymity.
The Entebbe police CID Boss urged all medical practitioners to be careful with people’s lives to avoid such incidents from happening again.
