Musician John Blaq, whose real name is Kasadha John, has revealed that he is willing to sell his music catalog for a financial gain.

John Blaq achieved his big breakthrough in 2018 after years of hard work. Over time, he has released chart-topping hits and built a rich catalog that continues to be appreciated by his fans.

He is also reaping significant benefits from his music through numerous bookings and royalties from digital platforms.

“I would trade my music for money. I want to be rich. If someone is giving me billions of money, I can give it to them and sing with my friends. As long as they do not take away my right to perform them for my fans,” he spoke to Galaxy media.

Musicians selling their catalogs is not new in the industry. In 2021, reports surfaced that Jose Chameleone had sold his music for a whopping sum of Ugx 3.5 billion to UgaTunes management. The deal was allegedly sealed after his secret meeting with General Salim Saleh.
